Mumbai Vs Pune: Winning Bets

I am back once again with bets hopefully going to win you some money. From now on, I will be posting on a regular basis.

First match today is Mumbai vs Pune. In match odds market, Mumbai is 1.65 at Betfair, which is a fair price in my opinion. But rather than focusing on match odds, main bet would be to lay 3o runs or more opening partnership of Pune at 2.99 (Betfair). I think this is a wonderful bet especially with Graeme Smith struggling and Malinga opening the bowling for Mumbai.

Another good bet in this match would be to Lay Yuvraj Singh in the top Pune Batsman market. I don't think he is going to get much run today against the quality attack of Mumbai.

I will be back with more bets after the toss when inning runs and other market materializes. Do come back, its worth it

Update after the toss: Pune won the toss and bat first

One market which has excite me is the most sixes market and I think Mumbai @ 2.02 is a tremendous bet. Likes of Pollard and Symonds is definitely going to be the key here. Further, with short boundaries, I think laying 9 and under in total sixes market is a top bet.

Recommended Bets:

Lay Pune Opening Partnership (30 runs or more) @ 2.99

Most sixes: Back Mumbai @ 2.02

Total sixes: Lay 9 and under @ 2.36

Top Pune Batsman: lay Yuvraj Singh (NAP)

Winning Bets For Australia Vs Canada Match

It's been so long that I posted in my blog but today is the day where I have find number of winning bets (hopefully).

Bet number 1: Top Canada Batsman

Lay any other batsman @ 3.9 (Betfair)

Update: Gunasekhra not playing so Betfair has cancel this bet.

I think this is a very safe bet because lower order of Canada is absolutely crap and you do not need to worry about the likes of Cheema and Davison.

Bet number 2: Top Australia Batsman

Lay Shane Watson @ 3.2 (Betfair)

Value bet in my opinion especially if Australia bats first. He looks a bit edgy to me.

Bet number 3: Ricky Ponting to outscore Micheal Clarke @ 1.75 (Betfair)

Ricky is due for a big knock and I think he will score big today.

Bet number 4: Top Australia Wicket Taker

Lay Mitchell Johnson @4.2 (Betfair)

This is my nap of the day

India Vs Bangladesh: Useful Betting Tips

So World Cup is starting today and I am here to give you some valuable bets from the Betfair market.

Match Odds:

There is no point backing India at 1.16 but yes if India hit 1.4 or more, just jump on it, irrespective of the match situation because they are going to win the match. Indian team looks very focused for this match and when that is the case, they are too much for teams like Bangladesh. Remember, its revenge time for Team India.

If Bangladesh bat first, lay India at 1.17 and back them once they hit 1.4 or more.

To Score 50 runs:

Sachin Tendulkar does not look in form and are coming back after a long gap, so my advice would be to lay Sachin Tendulkar making 50 at odds of 3.2 at Betfair.

From Bangladesh, lay Imrual Kayes making 50 at odds of 5 at Betfair. In such a pressure match, openers of Bangladesh are going to struggle.

Top India batsman:

Lay Sachin Tendulkar at 4.7. He is not going to be a top batsman.

Good Luck all. I will be back tomorrow with results and preview of another matches.

Yesterday Was Not Bad But My Selection Lost

Yesterday was mixed for this blog as our selection Zimbabwe lost to Ireland but topping up at 2.0 ensure that anybody who follows this blog got a decent chance to green out at Betfair as Zimbabwe traded quite low in the market.

Despite not losing in terms of money, I think overestimating Zimbabwe and underestimating Ireland was a big mistake on my part. Just backing teams on the fact that they have three quality spinners is not a good strategy. Overall team composition is also a very important factor.

Please let me know how was your performance yesterday and what was your assessment of Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe To Beat Ireland At Warm Up Match

Betting on warm up matches is not recommended but the kind of intensity that is being shown by the teams, I have changed my opinion. And that is why I am here to give you tip on one of the matches which I think is pretty much straightforward.

In my opinion, Zimbabwe is going to crush Ireland today at odds of 1.56 in the Betfair. I know some of you will say that Ireland was quite impressive against Newzealand and they can give Zimbabwe a run for their money. I agree that Zimbabwe can trade a lot higher during in-play but when it comes to who is going to win the match, Zimbabwe has too many weapons in their repertoire. Their spin bowling is going to trouble Ireland. More importantly, their batting lineup looks solid and will post a good total on board.

With match happening at Nagpur, one of the best batting wickets in India, I am hundred percent sure that Zimbabwe is going to win this warm up match. So my dear friends, take 1.56 that is on offer and become rich.

Recommended bets:

Back Zimbabwe at 1.56@ betfair

Top up at 2 or more during in-play

My ICC Greatest ODI Team Of All Time

As you may be aware, ICC is asking for a vote from cricket enthusiasts all around the world in order to come up with a greatest ODI team of all time. I have voted and this is my team. Hope you agree with me. All comments are welcomed.

Shane Warne: Magician in one word. Can't look beyond Warney when it comes to changing the matches.

Wasim Akram: Tremendous bowler with so much variety, can also bat a bit.

Allan Donald: One of the fastest bowlers I have seen. Can rattle any top order batsman.

Glenn McGrath: One of my personal heroes when it comes to bowling. Has a habit of getting top batsman out. Ask Lara, Sachin, Vaughan and Fleming.

Adam Gilchrist: True gentleman and extraordinary batsman.

Jacques Kallis: No team is complete without Kallis. Can do everything in the cricketing field.

Michael Bevan: When chips are down, he is the man you can bank on. Can win you the match from a hopeless situation.

Brian Lara: Best batsman of all time in my opinion. Is a treat to eye and a match winner.

Viv Richards: Can murder any bowling attacking. Decent off spinner as well.

Virender Sehwag: 15 overs of Sehwag and opposition is finished. What more you want.

Sachin Tendulkar: Great man, must in every team.

India To Fight Back At Durban

After performing poorly at first test, time has come to once again witness a grand fightback from this Indian side. I was sure that India is going to lose the first test because they were up against a well drilled South African side, ready to pounce on the 'adaptability' factor. It is worthwhile pointing that India played the first test without any sort of practice matches and this was the reason which led to their downfall.

With quite a bit of time in the field, India will be better prepared this time around and I am dead sure that South Africa is not going to win the second test match at Durban. And that is where current price of South Africa at Betfair (2.22) is a must lay. In addition, I would also recommend you to back India at current price of 6.8. Another market that excites me is the Match odds draw no bet market where South Africa is currently trading at 1.34. You can't go wrong by laying at this price.

If you are not willing to take risk and has some doubts regarding India's ability to take 20 wickets, lay South Africa because trust me they are not going to lose this match. With few weather concerns around, you are definitely going to get a trading opportunity by laying South Africa at 2.22.

I am impressed with South African batting lineup but I am not sure their bowling is that good. Steyn is a quality but somehow his pace was missing at first test. Morne Morkel is a honest bowler but nothing exceptional and Parnell have to prove himself against a best batting line up in the world. You may ask: What about Harris? In short, he is not going to trouble Indians. Zaheer Khan coming back into the Indian team is going to make them stronger and if pitch is assisting bowlers, I think India will be a happier team as it will give them an opportunity to take 20 wickets.

Recommended Bets:

Lay South Africa at Match Odds @ 2.24

Back India at Match Odds @ 6.8

Lay South Africa at Match Odds Draw no Bet @ 1.35
